Michael Chapman was the musician who first alerted me to the acoustic guitar. He lived in my home town (Kingston upon Hull) and used to frequent the same pubs as I did. I watched him play many times and this is one of the first pieces of his that I learned. We've never met so I'm not pretending to know him, but he did have a massive influence over my playing.
